photonews.at/Georges Schneider - Freitag, den 12.
Samba Queen and Greenpeace activist Evangelina Carrozo from Argentina gatecrashed the traditional Familypicture at the EU-LAC summit. Carrozo (MIDDLE) stood by as the world leaders assembled for a group photo at the opening ceremony of "IV Summit of the European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean." Her long black raincoat should caught the eye someone working security, but no.
As camera flashes started to pop, she shucked off her coat to reveal a spangly bikini and knee-high black boots. She then walked in front of the assembled leaders holding up a sign that read "No Pulp Mill Pollution." Carrozo was voted the 2006 carnival queen of the Argentinian town of Gualeguaychu. She is upset about two large pulp mills being built in Uruguay at a cost of $1.8 billion by companies from Finland and Spain.
"We told the Uruguay government not to lie to the people. These pulp mills pollute," she announced before security could whisk her away.
